Today I did a really fun shoot with my friend's daughter to celebrate her turning 8. We played around near the beautiful walls of the court house and then headed to Beacon Hill Park to frolic in the grass and play with the ducks!
I have been looking forward to Melissa and Matthew's wedding since they braved a rainy day to do engagement photos with me. Their wedding did not disappoint. It was one of the more intimate and lovely weddings I have attended, from their vows matching, to the happy tears that everyone shed (including me during the speeches) and the fact that every guest joined us on our photography adventures around town. There were so many beautiful moments between these guys and their families. It was a wedding I will remember and I am sure everyone who attended woke up with warm hearts this morning.
Melissa and Matthew, thanks for letting me be a part of your love story for a day.
After a beautiful week of sunshine we unfortunately had a grey, wet weekend. But these two adventurous people had travelled all the way over from the mainland for this shoot and we braved the rain to take some fun photos. Melissa and Matthew have known each other for a long time and they were very in tune with each other which helped get some great shots. As soon as I told them where to pose they would get close and were pros at posing for me (or maybe just forgetting the camera was there and just showing how much in love with each other they are?) I am very excited to photograph their wedding later this summer!
I photographed adorable Hiver a few weeks ago with her family, but this week her cousin Alex was in town from across the ocean so we did another special little photo shoot of the two of them! It's adorable smiles like theirs that make my job easy!
Today was a big anniversary for this lovely couple and they decided to celebrate with some family photos. We had some interesting light, with the haze from the forest fires hanging over the island, but it was a beautiful evening for photos. I had so much fun with these guys, they were laughing and having fun and I didn't even have to pull out my bad jokes. They are naturals in front of the camera! Happy Anniversary!
Next month I get to photograph the wedding of Alyssa and James so today we met at Beacon Hill Park to do a few engagement photos, and of course some family photos with their adorable ball of energy Connor! This little guy did not stop moving once!
I can't wait for this wedding, which sounds like its going to be far too much fun!
