I have been wanting to meet this little beauty for months and today my lovely friend Amber made the trek down the island and I got the chance to not only meet her but photograph her! She has the most adorable grin, which of course she saves for when there is no camera pointed her direction, but she was so smiley the whole time and we got some adorable shots! Here is a few fave shots before I call it a night! I’ll share more tomorrow.
Shortly after I met with these two to chat about their wedding next summer I received an email saying that if it snowed they would love to do their engagement session outside with the dogs. Well lucky for them Victoria is putting on a bit of a winter show this year and we headed out to Durance Lake today for some snowy fun!
These two are very natural with their affection, even in front of a camera and with the help of a few props we got some fun photos, even though Betty and Brew were not interested in doing anything but running about in the snow! ;)
Have you got your hot chocolate ready to enjoy this sneak peek from the day?!
I have been wanting to do a fairy sister photo with a new baby for a while. I had that opportunity today with these two adorable little ladies. It certainly isn’t the weather to bring fairies outside, so instead I created a little butterfly garden inside. Lila was the perfect fairy, planting flowers and decorating her garden and spreading a little magic. Esme was a little less than excited to try on her wings today but she was beautiful when she did!
Here are a few of my faves so far…
Last week I had an absolute blast doing mini sessions at the Magic Of Christmas Market. Christmas is my favourite time of year and I usually go all out decorating and making magic for my own family, so it was nice to spread a little bit of that magic to others. I even got to hang out with Santa for an hour! Here are a few of the adorable faces I got to photograph!
I have been lucky enough to photograph this little lady from before she was earth-side, for her newborn portraits, holiday milestones and now for her big second birthday in a month! We had some beautiful light today for some photos, and even though the dogs fought her for the cheerios treats, we had a super successful photoshoot! Isn’t she adorable!
Today I had the chance to photograph one cute little lady. She was content (most of the time) to just lay and watch me take photos of her looking adorable in some family heirloom knits and beautiful handmade blankets. She was such a sweetheart!
I absolutely love when I get to photograph a family every year, see how the kids have grown and the family changed by that growth. So I love it when I get to photograph my friend Katie and her family every autumn. And this year I got to do it on the most beautiful day in the evening sunshine at Mary’s Farm!
Yesterday I met with this beautiful and fun family to do some family portraits but also celebrate someone’s special first birthday with some portraits. These two sisters were super adorable and we had fun in the fall leaves and made use of the most beautiful sunshine that we had this weekend!
While I was most of the way across the country visiting family I also had the opportunity to visit and photograph some of my favourite clients! I started photographing them for their wedding a few years ago and when I realized that they had moved close to where we visit we kept in touch and I’ve done their photos in Ontario a few times as well!
We met on a very rainy evening, but the location was beautiful in the gardens and we got some fun photos!
Today I got the chance to snuggle an adorable little lady while I photographed her. Baby Summer is the daughter of my son’s teacher last year. It was such a treat to get a chance to meet her new baby and keep that connection with my own baby’s first teacher who helped nurture him. She was so sweet, and so was her big brother who I can tell is going to be such an amazing big brother and protector for her.
